to improve the lives of feral and free-roaming cats in the Columbia River Gorge . . .
- Sally's Cat Fund provides supplemental cat food to cat caregivers who otherwise can’t afford it, and to people feeding fixed feral cats.
- On a limited basis, we help lower-income people and feral cat caregivers get emergency veterinary care by paying part of the vet bill.
- We also work to reduce the number of homeless and unwanted cats by publicizing clinics where pet or feral cats are fixed for free or for a nominal fee.
- Cats trapped for spay/neuter surgery who are homeless and friendly, or are feral kittens, sometimes have the potential to be pets. If there is space in a foster home, we work to get these cats better lives by training them to be pets.
Please note we do not have a cat shelter.
helping stretch the budget of lower-income cat loversWe distribute cat food to those needing to supplement their cat food budget. |
MEDICAL CARE
We have arranged with a local veterinarian to treat injured cats at a discount for the person caring for the cat. This service is available on a limited basis, and does not include spay/neuter surgery. |
