About sally's cat fund
=^..^=
We are a small 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Hood River, Oregon, in the Columbia River Gorge. We are a niche organization addressing needs not met by other local animal organizations.
Our goal is to reduce the population of feral and abandoned cats, by neutering them to prevent population growth in these colonies. Because relocation is rarely a success, we return TNR cats to the grounds they are familiar with.
Who Was Sally?
Sally Donovan was one of the co-founders of Columbia Gorge Cat Rescue. She was well known in the local community for her passion and determination to save homeless cats, get them fixed and find them homes. In addition to the thousands of hours she put into those efforts over the years, she also owned and operated an historic preservation business for most of her adult life. Sadly, Sally passed away in the 10th year of Columbia Gorge Cat Rescue. Sally’s Cat Fund was founded to fill in a gap within the local community to help lower-income people who, because of financial need, might otherwise have to stop helping cats.
We at Sally’s Cat Fund worked with Sally, and are honored to carry on her legacy.
